Kris
Hadlock, formerly the drummer of the Chesterfield Kings for much of the 90’s, and
then a solo artist in the late 90's, formed
a band called HADLOCK. The extremely talented group of
five musicians joined together in 2001 to
produce music for a completely
un-served audience: people between the ages of 30 and 45, who
grew up loving Bon Jovi, Motley Crue, Van Halen, AC/DC, Journey
and other 80’s rock bands, and who are starving for fresh music
in that same style. HADLOCK’s music directly addresses that
need.
Over the past year,
after six years of hard work perfecting their act and developing
excellent music, the band has been chased by three
Grammy-winning multi-Platinum producers.
The band has chosen to work under the direction of the very
talented and Grammy award-winning Bob Kulick (Kiss, Meatloaf,
Motorhead and
Janis Ian),
and is headed to
Bob’s L.A. studios in October of 2007. Bob sees huge potential
in HADLOCK
and is committed to helping their sound evolve. He will use
his extensive
connections to attract key music industry players.
HADLOCK’s
style and sound is unique, with the great ability to grab hold
of the listener,
delivering songs
that everyone can relate to. Like Journey, HADLOCK’s songs are
the ones you crank up cruising down the highway, with your
windows down and your hair blowing, connecting at a deep level
with Kris’s words
In the
last 7 months, the band has built a dedicated fan base of 11,000
people, just through MySpace! These folks are already
rabid fans, and many of them have not even seen the band perform
yet, since the band has spent most of the past few years in the
studio.
